In June 2025, Stack Sports merged with PlayMetrics in a deal backed by Genstar Capital, and has since acquired SportsEngine as well. As part of this consolidation, Goalline and Pointstreak were retired in 2026, with affected organizations directed toward Crossbar.
Stack Sports today includes products like Stack Team App, PlayMetrics, SportsEngine, Sports Connect, Crossbar, GameDay, and CaptainU. If your organization uses any of these, it's worth understanding how being part of a larger, growing portfolio may affect pricing, support, and product direction.
