Playing sports is expensive. From registration fees to travel to equipment – parents are spending a large amount of money to have their children involved in sports. As a way to help offset some costs incurred throughout the year and to aid in team fundraising, TeamLinkt has introduced a new feature called the TeamLinkt Marketplace. This new feature allows TeamLinkt users to earn cash-back and credit at local businesses for their team.

The first city to launch the TeamLinkt Marketplace was Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. It currently includes businesses from a variety of different industries including sports bars, restaurants, gyms, spas, recreational activities, supplement shops and more. There are new businesses being added continuously as businesses are eager to participate and offer a fundraising alternatives to sports teams in Saskatoon.

How does the TeamLinkt Marketplace work?

Fundraising through the TeamLinkt Sports Team Management app is very simple. The user will download the TeamLinkt app and create a team (or access their existing team), find the Team Fundraising button in the app, select the business and show the merchant their 8-digit code at point of purchase. Once the merchant enters their transaction into the system, the cash-back or credit earned by the team will appear in the app.
