Online Registration FAQ’s
What are the fees for online payments?
TeamLinkt’s online registration system has the option to accept online payments or offline payments. For offline payments made (through cash, cheque, e-transfer, etc) there are zero fees. If a league or association chooses to accept credit card payments from registrants, there is a charge from the payment processor (rates range from 2.2-2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction), as well as a small fee added by TeamLinkt to faciliatate the payment processing. Do you offer waitlists?
Yes! You can set a limit per registration form for how many participants can register. Once full, registrants will be put on a waitlist and can be easily moved off if a spot becomes available.
You can also set waitlists for other specific items within the registration form (such as a limited number of spots to a camp, clothing items, etc).
Can we assign players to teams after registration is complete?
Yes! You can allow players to register directly for specific teams or easily assign them to a team after registration. This is also how the team management app is set up for teams to use.
What payment processor does TeamLinkt use?
Payments from registrants are processed through Stripe.
Can we set up a payment installments plan with registrants?
Yes! With TeamLinkt’s payment installments feature you can set a base amount due up-front, then schedule multiple payments to process later on. This is the perfect solution for leagues and clubs with large fees.
What sort of restrictions can we set for our registration form?
You can restrict participants from registering based on birthday, grade or gender. In addition, you can restrict the number of participants that can register.
