After a highly impressive regular season – the Prince Albert Raiders of the WHL have won the league title and are off to the Memorial Cup. They will open the tournament against the host Halifax Mooseheads of the QMJHL on Friday, May 17.

In 68 games this season, the Raiders compiled 54 wins, 10 losses, and four overtime losses. Brett Leason lead the way in points with 89 in 55 games, and Noah Gregor lead the team in goals with 43 in 63 games. Ian Scott was also a brick wall in net with a 1.83 GAA and .932 Sv% in 49 regular season starts. In the playoffs, Leason and Gregor continued to dominate – as well as Alexei Protas, who put up 22 points in 23 playoff games. Ian Scott also continued dominance in the playoffs being awarded the playoff MVP after posting a 16-7 record, 1.96 GAA and .925 Sv%.
